Dubai Industrial City, a Sama Dubai project, has embarked on the ambitious 500 hectare Dubai Industrial City development. Strategically located along Dubai’s westerly border with Abu Dhabi, the development is destined to become Dubai’s industrial business core.

The Dubai Industrial City site is situated immediately southeast of and with frontage along Emirates Road. The site is in close proximity to Jebel Ali Free Zone and Port, Dubai Investment Park, Dubai Techno Park, as well as the future Dubai International Airport site. The development will be well served by high order expressways and arterial roadways within close proximity to the site.

The master plan for the site provides a variety of land-uses, developed around the proposed Arabian Canal as a most visible landmark throughout the site and beyond. The presence of the Arabian Canal will engage both sides of the site to the waterfront creating an urban downtown where housing, commercial and educational areas will be developed to accommodate people in attractive, landscaped settings.

The development includes food and beverage zones, base-metal and transportation zones, and an extensive conservation area. These areas are further complemented with logistics, educational and mixed use developments.

Alongside the primary industrial-focused developments will be institutes of higher learning (with emphasis on the industrial sector), research and development centres, convention and exhibition centres, office towers, retail areas, entertainment and leisure zones, as well as residential and community centres.
